Meet Gus Gaches
![]() Last month I introduced you to Stacy Bragg who sings bass for us. This month, I'd like to go to the extreme other end of our vocal line up and introduce you to what I believe is one of, if not the best tenor in gospel music. His name is Gus Gaches. Now we hear a lot of people mispronounce his last name, so just to clarify, it sounds like Gaishes. For those of you who don't know Gus, he is one of the most sought after back up vocalists in Nashville. He is also known for his engineering, editing, production and mixing abilities. He owns the Vox Box recording studio which is primarily a studio where people record their vocals. The artists who have recorded there and who Gus has worked for are too many to mention, but I will tell you that besides The Whisnants and Booth Brothers, The LeFevre Quartet has 3 recordings to date, all done at Gus' place!
