I was just trying to be funny since obviously the lead part was the one you weren’t looking for.

good luck with it. I love those old tunes, and if you can pull off a classic sound like our buddies Southern Sound Qt can..... then you will be in great shape. It is so easy to “cut corners” and lose sight of your mission once you get things rolling. Lord Bless.

grin If I had the money, I too would like to start a group. It would be kind of a tribute group as well. I would purchase the rights to The Singing Americans, and reform the group. I would bring back as many of their classics as possible. But I would also bring back old classics from the Cathedrals, Kingsmen, Gold City, The Anchormen, and others. We would be a quartet with a full LIVE band consisting of piano, bass, drums, and other instruments such as steel, harmonica, electric guitar, etc.

I sure do wish I were closer to you. You are attempting to do exactly what I would love to see done here in middle Georgia. Good luck and God bless you in this effort.

This quartet will be called: Champion as that is what my first Ministrie name was called and also a well known Cathedral song.
