Sonshiners Quartet Record New Project

The Sonshiners Quartet of Campbellsburg, IN were in the studio in July putting the finishing touches on their soon to be released recording I Choose, recorded at Homeland Studios in Gallatin, TN. The current line-up of the Sonshiners are Tenor and Group Manager Tim Chastain, Lead Singer Mike Atchison, Baritone Ron McCaslin and Bass Terry Tichenor. Produced by Award winning Producer Nick Bruno, the project features songs from several top gospel music writers including Rebecca Peck and Garry Sheppard.

Group Manager Tim Chastain says " We feel that these songs have a special anointing on them. We appreciate the work that Nick Bruno has put into I Choose. Nick pushed us by bending and stretching our harmonies and blend more than we thought we were capable of. I am most pleased of the work that was accomplished and I pray that many will be blessed because of this effort."

I am sure it will be GREAT. I met these guys this summer and enjoyed their singing and especially their "get-it-done" attitude when a big storm blew in and took out the power! Their soundman jumped right in there and ran power to the PA from the bus, and we were soon back in business!

I am glad to know that there are folks who don't just wait for "someone else" to help..... did I mention that THEY CAN SING!!!!!
